Every student should understand that attendance at Harvest Christian School is a privilege and not a right. Each student is to be held responsible for andis to be familiar with the contents of the Harvest Christian School Parent, Student, and Teacher Handbookand should act accordingly. Above and beyond the rules of conduct, a student at HCS is expected todemonstrate a Christian testimony before others at all times, both on and off campus. Each yearstudents will sign an agreement to comply with the following Code of Conduct. The Student Code of Conduct is as follows:
I will avoid a negative and complaining attitude.
I will observe honesty at all times and willnevercheat or encourage others to do so.
I will respect those in authority and give prompt obedience to all staff members and parentvolunteers.
I will treatallof my fellow students with respect in both words and actions.
I will use language which glorifies the Lord.
I willnotuse any alcohol, drugs, or tobacco either on campus or off campus.
I will never borrow another person’s property without permission and will return it upon requestand in the same condition or in better condition than when it was borrowed.
I will be responsible for completingall assignments on time and to the best of my ability.
I will seek God’s will for my life through prayer, reading of the Word of God,and attendance at aChrist-centered church.
I will honor God in my choices of entertainment by carefully choosing what Iwatch, read,andlisten to, and by the activities in which I participate.
I will abide by the Parent, Student, and Teacher Handbook.
